2012 BMW 3-Series Sedan With M-Sport Package



BMW normally takes its time to release details on kits coveted M Sport for its new models. But this is not the case with the new 3 Series 2012 that the Bavarian manufacturer has also slipped out details on the M-Sport option packages for the premium sedan which goes on sale next February.

Scheduled for launch in the summer of 2012, the M Sports Package comes with a special exterior and interior features, and is available in base trim, and all three equipment lines.

So what is included in the package? For starters, it adds a lowered sport suspension M with a 10mm (0.4 inch) drop in ride height, together with firmer suspension and damping, and harder anti-roll bar.

Outside there are 18 alloy wheels and a typical M aerodynamic parts like front bumper and custom rear diffuser with chrome exhaust pipes and BMW Individual high-gloss Shadowline trim.

In typical BMW fashion Pocket-digging, the Bavarians also offer accessories, ... the optional M Sport package, including exclusive paint color M, Adaptive sports suspension with electronically controlled damping M-winning, 19-inch wheels and larger brakes in a typical M Sport Blue paint aluminum four-piston fixed calipers front and rear two-piston fixed callipers.

What is internal, bucket seats is a unique fabric / Alcantara inserts accent stripe blue, models with a manual transmission Shortshifter M, M door sill finishers, M footrest driver, and a new M leather steering wheel.
