Proton Denies Reports It Will Sell Lotus To Genii Capital



Proton, the Malaysian owner of Lotus, has released a statement, which ends in a number of reports in the media and said it expects to sell shares of the British sports car manufacturer.

This is what the company said: ".. The movements between the alleged Genii Capital Group Lotus and the reports are false and are highly speculative in nature relations with Proton's Lotus group is as good as ever"

Despite the catastrophic sales, Proton said it remains committed to the implementation of Lotus is "channeling the energy and effort" to develop entirely new products.
