2011 Lexus IS-F Receives Euro 5 V8 And New Dashboard



European fans of the Lexus IS-F will rejoice, this is a sports car that did not close the other side of the pond due to the introduction of Euro 5 emission standards. Unlike the current generation of Ford Focus ST, Honda Civic Type R and Mazda RX-8 to name a few, IS-F makes it a 2011 model year, thanks to the line 5.0-liter V8, which is now completely updated with Euro 5 emissions standards.

Product description says that the power remains unchanged 423HP with the IS F is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km / h (62 mph) 4.7 seconds and top speed electronically up to 270 km / h (168 mph).

Like the rest of the series flagship 2011MY IS IS F benefits from some subtle exterior and interior revisions. Outside, carries with revised headlights Sports Saloon LED daytime running lights and a new finish option with the name "Starlight Black GF."

On board are the changes in the new belt over dark fiber, revised front seat design improves driver support, blue instead of white stitched leather seats, and, last but not least, a new instrument panel design repositions the tachometer, speedometer and recovery within a binnacle. U.S. buyers expect updates 2011MY same style (or 2012MY) version of the IS-F.

The IS-F 2011 will have its world premiere at the Paris Motor Show next month, with sales in Europe to follow soon after.
