
There seems no end to the release of various flavored versions of the Fiat 500 Abarth version that made its North American debut in Los Angeles last week.
Today, the Italian company has announced it will release two new editions of production and a racing version of the 500 Abarth in the upcoming Bologna Motor Show 2011, to be held in Italy from December 3 to 11.
The new production models 595 and 595 Abarth Turismo Competizione, the first is said to target buyers who want a sports model "without going to extremes," while the other is designed to appeal to those who love want something a little more aggressive.
Both models are equipped with the peppier 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with T-Jet Abarth customization kit that increases output to 160 horsepower and 230 nm (169.6 lb-ft) at 3000 rpm for 62 mph 0-100km / h () sprint time of 7.4 seconds and a top speed of 211 kmh (131 mph).
Tourism 595 is equipped with a manual transmission power steering wheel, while the 595 Competizione comes with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Tourism is notable for its two-tone black and red, the alternative was presented first convertible model. 595 logos in aluminum rear fenders and tailgate titanium-colored 17-inch alloy wheels complete external upgrade. Inside Tourism receives two red and black leather seats and steering wheel and aluminum pedals and trim accents.
Moving the 595 Competizione, which sports a special paint Grigio complements the exterior color matching finish alloy wheels 17-inch Brembo brake calipers made of aluminum and yellow logo on the rear fenders and the tailgate. The natural two-tone leather seats and Sabelt suede inside out, while the combo of the same color appeared in the door panels and steering wheel.
Fiat said both Turismo Competizione and 595 are also available with a variety of performance enhancements, such as brakes and sports suspension kits.
The third 500-model debut in Bologna is the Abarth 695 "Assetto Corse", which was designed for the track. Competition model is powered by a specially developed 1.4-liter turbo four-pot 205HP and features racing-spec wheels, brakes, transmission and suspension, along with all the safety devices required by FIA rules, like the roll bar welded to the frame.
