The first batch of official photos of the new Hyundai ix20 small MPV made their way to the gate to the world premiere of the car at the Salon de l'Automobile in Paris on September 30. The South Korean company Honda Jazz / Fit rival was designed and developed to its European R & D center in Rüsselsheim, Germany.
And what it really means Hyundai planned (but does not say) is that it took five seats Kia Come, and made some changes to the exterior and interior styling. On the outside, which means the new face of the hexagonal grille inspired by the ix35 / Tucson SUV, only one side mirrors and taillights, and a new design of alloy wheels.
Similarly, the changes are limited to interior trim and steering wheel, instrument panel, air conditioning systems / audio and door panels. Welcome to the wonderful world of badge-engineering.
As Venga ix20 will be offered in Europe with a choice of 1.4-liter diesel and 1.6 liter gasoline engine. The sale is expected to begin in the fall.
