New Porsche 911 Speedster



Celebrating its world debut at the Paris Motor Show alongside the 911 GTS will be a new member of the Porsche sports car, a long-lived family, 911 Speedster, which will be launched in December 2010.

The car may be new, but the name Speedster is old, in fact much older than the 911 itself, as it was first used on the classic 356 model in 1953. Porsche Speedster was relaunched in 1989 with a limited runtime based on the 911 Carrera 3.2, followed in 1992/1993 with a newer model based on the type 964 Carrera 911. According to Porsche, two examples of the 993 Speedster Type 911 also built on special order.

Designed and developed by the department of Porsche in Stuttgart, a new 911 Speedster Convertible-based style pays homage to its predecessors, and featuring a 60mm to calculate the windshield rake and the characteristic 'double bubble' soft hand bound behind the hut.

The car "shot" appearance is enhanced by the use of the Carrera 4 body with 44 mm in the posterior approach more widely.

In addition to these changes, 911 Speedster will also benefit from a range of other stylistic updates including custom front spoiler, special side skirts, a rear spoiler separate, darkened headlamps, fog blacks and black around the edge windshield. It also has a number of retrotastic Fuchs style wheels and tint tone black stone guards over the rear wheels, reminiscent of the previous editions of the 911

Porsche developed an exclusive "Pure Blue" finish for the Speedster, but on request, the car is also available in Carrara White, at no additional cost.

Interior changes are limited to a specific color and trim options, including black leather seats with color-coded items.
