GM Confirms Turbo Engine for the New Malibu



At a media occurrence for the arrival of the new 2013 Malibu on Friday, Common Engines verified the demonstration of a turbocharged design to Generator Pattern publication.

Chevrolet authorities said that the force-fed different of the Malibu would be presented in about a seasons time from now, without elaborating further on the features of powerplant or the design reduce.

There's rumours that GM may use the SS or perhaps even the RS handle for the turbocharged Malibu automobile. The Detroit automaker's powerplant bin currently has a 220HP 2.0-liter Ecotec Turbocompresseur and the more effective 2.0-liter Turbocompresseur model with 270-horsepower used on the main Buick Beautiful GS, while GM is also thought to be operating on a company new 2.0L four-cylinder turbo powerplant.

For now, the 2013 Malibu will release at first with a 2.4-liter four-pot with eAssit generating 182HP from the powerplant and 15HP from the motor model, and a 2.5-liter inline-four ranked at 190-horsepower.
