Chevrolet To Produce Pure-electric Version Of The Spark, Sales Start In 2013



IV Development of prototype Chevrolet electric car was not the only news coming out of the General Motors headquarters in Detroit, the automaker has also announced the launch of the Spark EV.

An all-electric version of the Spark city car will be produced in limited numbers to select global markets and the United States, like California, in 2013.

"The Spark EV offers customers who live in urban areas that have predictable traffic patterns or short drive to all-electric potential," said the chief engineer of Chevrolet global vehicle for electric cars Jim Federico.

"It complements the growing range electric vehicle Chevrolet Volt electric vehicle including extended range and the 2013 Malibu Eco eAssist with technology," he said.

Zero-emission model A123 is powered by lithium-ion Nanophosphate systems, which originally was thought to have created the Cadillac Converj, but had developed a new series of electric cars from GM.

Of course, the Chevrolet Spark EV is based on five-door hatchback, which has already been sold in foreign markets.

As Frederick says, benefits from the experience of experimental fleet of GM in Shanghai (Sailing RSV), Korea (Cruze RSV) and India (Beat / Spark RSV). "Global Demo Fleet continues to provide insight into the needs of customers of electric vehicles Spark EV is another step in Chevrolet's plan to provide customers with a variety of electrical solutions to the needs of lifestyle and transportation of people around the world" .

GM has said that more information on a given market area, volume, and, of course, prices will be announced later.

Dude, I drive a BMW: Video Making Sarcastic Bimmer Owners



There are [insert brand here] drivers, and then there are [insert brand here] drivers. Of course we've all heard the stereotypes and jokes about people who own sports cars of the famous sign that looks like a propeller blade against a blue sky - but as it turns out, was actually created to represent the colors of the Free State of Bayern.

The youth group has decided to display some of the stereotypes and to create a parody video on the BMW owners. Some of the sketches work better than others, but all in all, we gather that the clip of two and a half minutes of your time.

2012 Fiat 500


Five minutes behind the wheel sometimes tells you everything you need to know about a vehicle. Of course, you figure out more as the miles pile up, but the gained nuances usually support – not refute – that first impression.


Our first five minutes behind the wheel of the 2012 Fiat 500 shouted that it was solid, substantial and sporty. The rest of the day simply demonstrated the amplitude of these characteristics, and whether the exceptionally-popular-in-Europe 500 might actually catch on with American drivers.

Aston Martin adds V12 Vantage to Performance Driving Course



Aston Martin wants you to push its cars to the limit – at least, after you’ve signed some waivers and paid $2,500.
