Lamborghini's 999kg Sesto Elemento Concept Revealed



These are the first large-scale images of the Lamborghini concept car is a Ford Explorer, style tease for a while '. It's called the Sixth Element (sixth element), and according to Carscoop sources, the Gallardo Superleggera is powered by 5.2 liter V10.

System mounted on the center-lock brakes (seen in one of the teasers), the Superleggera to grind 570 horsepower pushing the car to 100 km / h (62 mph) in 2.5 seconds. It is almost a second faster than the spacecraft as Superleggera, all thanks to a massive weight reduction.

Unlike other unique concepts of the past, such as 4-door Estoque and retro Miura, Sixth Element looks more like a Gallardo - smaller and lighter than current model of the Lamborghini - only drove a car full of razor cleaning. Expect more pictures, information, and a lot of carbon fiber notification as soon as its available.

Lamborghini Launches Gallardo LP570-4 Blancpain Limited Edition



Lamborghini has teamed up with Swiss watchmaker Blancpain luxury to create a limited edition of its Gallardo supercar, as a tribute to cars Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo race. As you guessed, Blancpain is the title sponsor of a series of races do.

Finished in black paint, the legal way Gallardo LP 570-4 Blancpain edition adopts the Countach model racing size engine hood and rear wing alone is said to provide better ventilation.

The car will also aluminum wheels with brake calipers painted yellow Skorpius and hard carbon-ceramic composite, while a number of external components, such as mirror housings and diffuser are made of carbon fiber.

The atmosphere of the race goes on inside a black Alcantara finish with yellow accents and visible carbon fiber.

Like the Super Trofeo, powered by four-wheel drive model comes with a 5.2 liter V10 with 570 horsepower Gallardo Superleggera can be found in the series.

Lamborghini Blancpain Edition says that tips the scales (dry) to 1340 kg (2954 lb), making it "lighter road area model of Lamborghini." Do not nitpick, but is not entirely true, as the Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera is exactly the same weight. So, to be exact, it shares the Superleggera title.

Power to weight ratio of the vehicle amounts to 2.35 kg (5.18 lb) per hp Blancpain completing the standard zero to 100 km / h (0-62 mph) sprint in 3.4 seconds and reaches 200 km / h (124 mph) mark only 6, 8 seconds later (10.2''). Maximum speed over 320 km / h (199 mph).

No word on price or availability of the Gallardo LP 570-4 Blancpain edition of that time.

Super-Duper Lamborghini Gallardo Heading to Frankfurt Motor Show

Remember Lamborghini's media invitation to the 2011 International Auto Show in Frankfurt that read "Lamborghini. Racing Towards Frankfurt"? At the time, we asked you what could the Italian firm be readying for the largest motor show of the year.

If you answered a special Gallardo – and at least one of you did in our comments section, you may give yourself a pat on the back.

Carscoop has learned that the "Lamborghini Racing Towards Frankfurt" is a limited edition version of the current generation Gallardo.

The Italian special will not only be slightly more powerful and lighter than the standard Gallardo, but also more radical and hardcore than the Superleggera.
