Subaru BRZ Concept STI

It's one of the most long awaited designs of the season and now, we lastly get our first recognized look at the new Subaru BRZ Strategy a several months before it creates its community initial at this year's variation of the Los Angeles Vehicle Display on We have seen 16.

The STI-badged Subaru research is a thinly hidden concept edition of the approaching development BRZ car that will be unwrapped with its sibling style, the Toyota FT-86, at this year's Seattle Website Display in the starting of November.

"Built with Subaru’s middle engineering of the Horizontally-Opposed Fighter engine, this style has a low middle of severity that knows a “Pure Managing Delight” generating practical knowledge," Subaru said in a shorter report.

"Combined with motifs of Subaru’s well-known operation company “STI”, the style car represents an best handling operation," the business included.

The Western carmaker did not generate any further details on its concept style.

The rear-wheel generate BRZ is caused by an continuous joint-project between Subaru and Toyota Website Business. It stocks its program, drivetrain and as we can see from the individual graphic, its shape cover as well with the Toyota FT-86.

The only popular appearance variations between the Toyota and the Subaru that we can see from this position aside from the aero kit, as well as fibre top and STI aluminum tires, are the longest tail light, footwear lid and raise bumper/diffuser styles.

We're not sure if Subaru will industry the BRZ (which is for “Boxer engine”, “Rear-wheel drive” and “Zenith”) with the STI handle or if the business will provide an STI method according to this research.

Whatever the situation, the BRZ will be provided with a 2.0-liter flat-four joined to a 6-speed guide gearbox, and perhaps, a 6-speed automated indication generating the raise tires.

It has been rumored but not yet established that the boxer engine will be more extremely effective in the Subaru BRZ than in the Toyota FT-86 where we lately discovered that it creates 200-horses.

2011 NYIAS: New Scion FR-S Concept Brings Sexy Back to the FT-86

The model most anticipated New York Auto Show, the Scion version of the Toyota FT-86 Concept sports coupe at last had its world premiere today. The study is called FR-S, which means "front-engine, rear-wheel drive, sport," but we prefer the definition given by Jack Hollis, Scion vice president, during the presentation of the new Hall of New York.

"FR-S stands for the front-engine rear-drive sports ... .... Very simple. I personally think it should stand for friggin 'sweet ... but the legal department, Toyota does not feel the same way "said Hollis.

The first thing many readers will notice on the FR-S is a sophisticated design concept since the last version of the Toyota FT-86, is shown in Geneva last March. Although it is difficult to identify all the changes side by side without a car, the photos reveal a fine line with the front headlamps and a revised bumper design otherwise, without after-market add-ons like the strips of LEDs.

Looking at the profile of the court, we see to support more robust and heavily sculpted rear fenders and more and new side mirrors, alloy wheels larger with a different design. In addition, the FT-86 II is blind openings wings were removed.

As for the rear, the interpretation of the FT-86 Scion has a new rear fascia design with a prominent ditch the beginning of the tuner-esque wing taillights and a different rear diffuser impressive. Other changes include the roof, which is projected on the rear windshield.

The end result is a much more aggressive and smoother than the FT-86 II. Now, here's hoping that Scion will not be surprising in the most important auto show in the States with an FR-S II study ...

As expected, says the production version of the Scion FR-S, which will continue in 2102, will be equipped with 2.0-liter boxer engine from Subaru as the same model Toyota. However, the company revealed that the engine of four planes that make up the injection system Toyota D4-S, which uses direct injection and port, resulting in more power and torque throughout the curve MPG without sacrificing power - or at least that's what the company says.
