Read Why Steve Jobs' Car Never Had a License Plate

Steve Jobs, the charismatic founder of Apple and Pixar, was a man who changed not only the amount of equipment is manufactured and marketed, but also popularized a number of new products like the iPhone and the iPad, which forms long buyers lines outside Apple stores and competition will always catch up.

Unfortunately Jobs has died Oct. 5 at the age of 56 years. After his death, was one of the rumors circulating on the Internet that the license plate of his car - or rather its absence.

Some said he did not like to pay fines, he could probably afford, while others claimed that he had somehow obtained a special license to drive without it.

Jon Callas, who had worked in various security posts at Apple, dismissed all the rumors and revealed the truth to iTWire.

Despite his brilliant inventions in his personal life Jobs liked to stick to certain things, like his famous black turtleneck, jeans and sneakers. The same goes for his journey: he was always seen driving a silver Mercedes-Benz SL 55 AMG, with no license plates.

Callas said that Jobs himself or someone close to him and discovered a loophole in California law that gave everyone a new car for a period of six months to put the plate on the vehicle.

Jobs apparently had a lease agreement of the company, which would change the car every six months to return to the SL 55 AMG Silver and receive an identical new one.

Jobs in classic style, no one knew the truth or feel the difference. Presumably, it was a good deal for the leasing company, as well: every six years, sale of a silver button used SL 55 AMG, which was owned by none other than Steve Jobs himself .

So Congratulations to Steve Jobs, who discovered another clever solution, although he did not give him any publicity. May he rest in peace.
