Similar to the recently updated A5/S5 models, do it refreshed Audi A4s new six-point grille and sharper looking headlights with LED daytime running lights that form a narrow band, redesigned front and rear bumper, and the twisted tail lights that reflect the form of lights and come with LED strips.
The changes have slightly modified the external dimensions of the sedan and the A4 Avant and measuring 4.70 meters (15.42 feet) long, and the allroad quattro and S4, 4.72 meters (15.49 feet). Basis for all variants is 2.81 meters (9.22 feet), and the width is 1.83 meters and 1.84, respectively (6.0 and 6.04 m), while the height varies between 1.41 and 1.50 meters (4.63 m and 4.92), depending on the version.
The Audi A4 interior engineers refined a range of new wheel designs and fresh colors, the company also made changes to the control arm and the ignition key.
On the front of the engines, Audi says consumption dropped by 11 percent on average, despite the increased power and torque of most engines.
In Europe, A4 Avant and the sedan is offered with a 1.8 TFSI petrol engine that delivers 170 hp and 320 Nm nine liters (236.02 lbs ft) of torque. In the sedan, it returns a combined fuel economy of 5.6 lt/100km (42.0 mpg U.S.) with CO2 emissions of 134 grams per km (215.65 g / mile), which represents a decrease of 19 percent of the previous engine consumption.
The updated 2.0-liter TDI is available in three states of high producing 136hp (100kW), 163HP (120kW) and 177HP (130kW). The 136hp version is more fuel efficient with an average consumption of 4.2 km lt/100 (56.0 mpg U.S.) with CO2 emissions of 112 grams per km (180.25 g / mile ).
The most powerful engine available in the series is the 3.0-liter TFSI V6 that produces 272HP 333HP A4 and S4. It is available in two sedan and Avant. The S4 sedan goes from zero to 100 km / h (62 mph) in 5.0 seconds and reaches a top speed electronically limited to 250 km / h (155 mph), while returning an average fuel consumption of 8.0 liters per 100 km (29.40 mpg U.S.).
A six-speed manual standard A4 Saloon and Avant front-wheel drive models, with grated offering an optional continuously variable multitronic gearbox. Four versions are equipped with a manual gearbox or seven-speed S tronic dual clutch. A4 Allroad Quattro uses a manual or S tronic, all engines.
Audi says that the supports of the rear suspension control arm are the new damping characteristics and have turned to listen, while the electromechanical power steering is also new to all models of the A4.
