Hyundai's Curb Small Crossover Concept

Giving the focus with the Veloster car at Hyundai's Detroit motorshow take a position is the Control, a conceptual research for a little cross-over style put under the Tucson. Marked by Cars as a stream-lined City Task Automobile (UAV), the Control is directed at fresh location inhabitants.

Penned by the developers at Hyundai's Colorado business, the Curb's appearance is said to have developed from the business “Fluidic Sculpture” style expressions seen on the newest Sonata and Elantra.

“We desired the Control to be urban difficult without looking like a Brink's vehicle,” said Jerr Darkish, Cars artist. City generating was going to be its strength, not spanning the Rubicon path, but we desired it to have urban shield for regular generating on location avenues. It desired to encourage its people in this location.”

Another Cars artist, Arash Badeanlou strongly mentioned “The community has never seen collections like this on a car before," including "it is as if the designer Santiago Calatrava encouraged it.”

The Control, which is the 7th car (hence the HCD-12 codename) to be developed at the changeable Colorado Design Middle, is encouraged by a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder website with immediate treatment engineering, mated to Hyundai's Direct Move Gearbox (DSG) [wonder what the VW Collection has to say about the acronym...]. The force-fed website builds up 175 power and 169 lb. ft. of twisting. Cars said that by including Nonproductive Quit and Go (ISG) engineering, the Control would offer 30+ mpg in the location and 40+ mpg on the road.
