Some four years and 270,000 sales worldwide since the launch of the Volkswagen Passat is flashy four-door coupe sibling, it's time for DC to receive his first mid-life makeover.
Set to make its world debut at the 2011 Auto upcoming show in Los Angeles later this month, the 2013 Volkswagen Passat ups packs some choose to bring visual scrub with new offers of the German mark.
You can find a new updated model of the face that gets a new grille with chrome trim, headlights that combine to form LED and ring modified buffer.
Similar changes can be found in the back with new LED rear lights, bumpers and designs of the trunk lid. A selection of fresh colors and options alloy wheels complement the exterior changes.
Inside, VW engineers tinkered around with air-conditioning controls and trim options when the company says it has improved the standard features in all series of increasing fatigue detection system, the new sound, stainless steel door sills and safety restraints more longitudinally adjustable front seats.
For 2013 model year, there is also a new set of support systems available, such as Side Assist Lane Assist Plus with built-in, which warns of vehicles in blind spots and helps the driver avoid an accident by an intervention Steering, Dynamic Light Assist and a camera system based on detection of traffic sign.
In the U.S., the CC will launch with a wide range of engines than before, including a 200 hp 2.0-liter TSI petrol and a 280HP 3.6-liter FSI V species (ISP).
There is no change on European or with CC, which is offered with multiple ITS petrol and TDI diesel engines ranging in output from 140 hp to 300 hp. To the most fuel efficient 2.0 TDI is powered by 140hp, which offers a combined fuel consumption of 4.7lt/100km (equivalent to 50mpg U.S.).
Updated Volkswagen CC will be launched in Germany in February 2012, then gradually the whole of Europe, America, Russia, China, (the local version from 2013) and other sales areas.
