Japan gets Special Edition Versions of Mazda Demio hatch and Verisa



Division Mazda Japan has launched two new special edition model, based on the Demio sub-compact, which is known as the Mazda2 in overseas markets, and the second Verisa, long sedan based on the previous generation Demio / Mazda2, which was launched in 2004 and is available only in Japan.

Built to celebrate Mazda has sold two million units Mazda2/Demio the world, the '13-Demio SKYACTIV Smart 'elegant is available only with a body of Clearwater Blue Metallic exterior and special seat trim with red piping. Other features include dark tinted windows, Keyless Entry & Start advanced with two keys.

Japanese society is another special edition Veris chic style available in two variants, FWD or AWD, both equipped with a gasoline engine attached to a 1.5-liter four-speed automatic transmission

Buyers can choose between three exterior colors Clearwater Blue Metallic (exclusive to this edition), Crystal White Pearl Mica Radiant Ebony, while the interior is covered with sand beige leather seats with suitable side supports.

In addition, the exterior has a special "Dress-up package" that includes chrome trim for the grille, front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts and tailgate, plus an auto-light system, water-repellent coating on the front side windows and mirrors, exhaust pipe finisher and front fog lamps with chrome edges. Finally, special edition rides on Veris alloy wheels wrapped in 15-inch tires 185/55R15 81V.

Pricing in Japan is set at 1.47 million yen (U $ 18,995) for the Demio, 1.64 million yen (U.S. $ 21,150) for Veris FWD and ¥ 1,829,000 (U.S. $ 23,600 .) for the AWD Veris.
