In the margins of the Los Angeles Auto Show, BMW unveiled the next generation 6 Series convertible, and now we have a wealth of images and video to throw so you can get a better look at all the fine details.
As we have already said, the new series debuts with a ragtop 6 400-hp 4.4-liter V8 turbo (as 650I), has enough room for two golf bags with the top down, and be available with cockade is 8-speed automatic transmission, or (even better) a manual transmission 6-speed. The 650I completes the sprint from 0 to 100 km / h (62 mph) in 5.0 seconds with the engine electronics to finally step in and cut your speed of 250 km / h (155 mph).
Once the new 650th Convertible goes on sale, we also see a small compression 640th petrol turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine with 320HP and 450 nm (332 lb-ft). This engine pushes the 640th Convertible 0-100 km / h (62 mph) in 5.7 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 250 km / h (155 mph).
As a 640i, the car will use only 7.9 liters / 100 km (~ 30 mpg), while the V8's fuel economy is slightly less effective at 10.7 liters / 100 km (~ 22 mpg).
Later, the line of certain markets may expect turbo-diesel (630d and 640D) and a high performance V8 biturbo on the M6 Convertible.
As we waited for BMW to release all the goodies some of the future of hi-po / diesel options, look at the pictures of the mega-gallery below.
