Renowned specialist Ford Shelby announced plans to release the latest iteration of its toxic pony car at the next Salon 2011 New York International Auto. For model year 2012 Super Snake package will add a mouth-watering 800 horsepower under the hood of the Mustang, with a heavily modified engine 5.4-liter V8 compressor.
Buyers will also receive a number of other changes in style and performance, such as 20-inch sports tires, alloy wheels, adjustable coil over suspension, swing bars Eibach, Baer 6-piston caliper rear brake system and the aero package.
As before, Shelby plans to produce only a limited number of Super Snakes guarantee exclusivity. We have more information and photos of the presentation of the car this month, the New York Auto Show.
